Inquire now

This course is the recommended next step after the 144-hour JLPT N2 Training Course. It builds on N2 vocabulary, kanji, grammar, reading and listening skills and develops the more advanced comprehension required for N1. Learners work with abstract and logically complex writing, including editorials and critiques, and follow extended spoken material such as discussions and news reports at nearly natural speed. These areas reflect the official JLPT description of N1 proficiency.

The 216-hour duration is a course recommendation, based on 12 weeks of study at 18 contact hours per week. It allows more time than the initial N2 course for advanced language knowledge, complex reading and extended listening.
