This practical course equips participants with tools and habits to do more with the resources they already have—time, people, budget, tools, and materials—without sacrificing quality. Participants learn how to spot waste, streamline workflows, prioritize high-impact work, improve utilization, and build simple tracking routines to sustain efficiency improvements in day-to-day operations.

- Map a basic workflow and pinpoint bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

- Manage time and workload using prioritization and capacity planning techniques.
- Reduce rework and errors by improving clarity, handoffs, and quality checks.
- Build simple metrics to monitor efficiency and sustain improvements.
- Create a 30-day resource efficiency improvement plan for a real work area.

- Queue and backlog basics: why “more work in progress” slows delivery
- Workshop: Map one real process and identify bottlenecks + quick wins

- Simplification methods: remove, combine, reorder, automate-ready steps
- Standard work: checklists, templates, and clear “definition of done”
- Improving handoffs: inputs/outputs, owners, deadlines
- Activity: Create a checklist/template to reduce rework for a chosen process
