This practical course equips participants with tools and habits to do more with the resources they already have—time, people, budget, tools, and materials—without sacrificing quality. Participants learn how to spot waste, streamline workflows, prioritize high-impact work, improve utilization, and build simple tracking routines to sustain efficiency improvements in day-to-day operations.

  • Identify common forms of waste in daily work (time, rework, waiting, overprocessing).
  • Map a basic workflow and pinpoint bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Apply practical methods to improve efficiency (standard work, simplification, automation-ready tasks).
  • Manage time and workload using prioritization and capacity planning techniques.
  • Reduce rework and errors by improving clarity, handoffs, and quality checks.
  • Build simple metrics to monitor efficiency and sustain improvements.
  • Create a 30-day resource efficiency improvement plan for a real work area.
