Duration 10 days – 70 hrs
Overview
The Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) Training Course equips learners with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and safety-oriented mindset needed to perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The program covers core competencies such as wiring installation, lighting and power systems, motor controls, preventive maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting. Trainees will also develop proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, applying the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), and performing work in accordance with industry standards and workplace safety protocols. Hands-on activities, demonstrations, and competency-based assessments ensure participants gain real-world technical experience needed for entry-level to intermediate electrical work roles.
Objectives
- Demonstrate safe work practices in all electrical installation and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret electrical drawings, plans, and technical specifications accurately.
- Perform installation, wiring, splicing, and termination of electrical devices and systems according to the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot common electrical faults using appropriate tools, instruments, and procedures.
- Apply quality standards, environmental policies, and workplace ethics in all electrical works.
- Prepare accurate technical reports related to installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
