This hands-on training course is designed specifically for engineering teams aiming to build in-house Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions for smart factories. Tailored for SIIX’s automation and testing environment, the program focuses on the development and integration of IoT-based sensor systems—such as temperature and humidity monitoring—into manufacturing equipment like FCT, ICT, Terminal Detectors, and Auto Label Machines. Participants will learn how to design, prototype, and deploy IoT devices, interface with machines, collect and analyze data, and build systems that improve factory automation, traceability, and real-time monitoring.

  • Overview: Microcontrollers (ESP32, Arduino, STM32)
  • Power and performance considerations for industrial use
  • Setting up development tools and environments

 

Module 3: Sensor Integration and Signal Processing

 

  • Working with temperature and humidity sensors (e.g., DHT22, SHT31)
  • Interfacing pressure, vibration, and proximity sensors
  • Filtering, signal conditioning, and calibration

 

Module 4: Industrial Communication Protocols

 

  • Serial communication (UART, I2C, SPI)
