Overview
This advanced capstone workshop enables participants to integrate multiple Generative AI tools into a cohesive, real-world solution tailored to their professional or departmental needs. Using tools such as Claude, Canva, Fireflies, Notion AI, and others, learners will design, build, and present a custom GenAI-powered workflow, demonstrating practical application, innovation, and strategic alignment. Peer review and expert feedback will support refinement and deployment readiness.
Objectives
- Select and integrate multiple GenAI tools to solve a real-world workplace challenge
- Build and document an end-to-end AI-powered workflow tailored to their function
- Present and justify their solution in terms of productivity, scalability, and alignment with business goals
- Critique and improve their design through structured peer and facilitator feedback
- Leave with a functional, scalable GenAI toolkit ready for workplace adoption

Prerequisites
- Familiarity with at least 2–3 GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Canva, Fireflies, Notion, Slack GPT)
- Experience building AI-assisted content, communications, or automations
- Completion of an intermediate GenAI or prompt engineering course is recommended
Course Content
Day 1: Planning and Building Your GenAI Workflow
Session 1: Toolkit Selection & Problem Definition
- Review of available GenAI tools and use cases
- Defining a department-specific problem or opportunity
- Selecting tool combinations (e.g., Claude + Fireflies + Notion for HR reporting)
Session 2: Workflow Mapping and Prompt Engineering
- Mapping the workflow stages (input → transformation → output)
- Creating, refining, and chaining prompts for multi-tool interaction
- Hands-on: Begin building your GenAI workflow using selected tools
Session 3: Tool Integration and Output Testing
- Testing handoffs between tools (e.g., transcript from Fireflies summarized by Claude, visualized in Canva)
- Troubleshooting logic gaps, formatting, or data inconsistencies
- Iterative refinement based on user and system feedback
Day 2: Presentation, Feedback, and Finalization
Session 4: Workflow Presentations and Peer Review
- Presenting the workflow’s purpose, design, and expected outcome
- Live demonstration of the AI workflow
- Peer and facilitator feedback: value, clarity, scalability, and risks
Session 5: Final Iteration and Deployment Planning
- Refining the toolkit and documentation
- Checklist for rollout and team adoption
- Scaling the workflow across other departments or use cases
- Wrap-up and certificate distribution
Capstone Deliverable:
