Overview

 

This hands-on course equips IT professionals to plan, deploy, configure, secure, and operate Microsoft Teams in Microsoft 365. It maps closely to the MS-700 “Managing Microsoft Teams” exam, covering tenant architecture, identity & access, meetings and collaboration policies, Teams Phone (Voice), security & compliance, monitoring, and automation with PowerShell.

  • Design a Teams tenant architecture and configure org-wide/per-user policies.
  • Create and manage teams, channels, templates, and lifecycle at scale.
  • Configure meetings, webinars, and live events; manage recordings and transcripts.
  • Implement secure collaboration (guest/external access, app permissions, governance).
  • Deploy and manage Teams Phone (Calling Plans, Direct Routing, Operator Connect).
  • Apply compliance features: retention, DLP, sensitivity labels, eDiscovery, audit.
  • Monitor health and call quality via Teams Admin Center, CQD, and call analytics.
  • Automate administration with PowerShell and policy packages.
