Duration 3 days – 21 hrs.
Overview
The Postman API Testing and CI Integration Training Course is a comprehensive hands-on program designed to equip software testers, QA engineers, developers, and DevOps professionals with the knowledge and practical skills required to design, execute, automate, and integrate API testing into modern Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Participants will learn how to use Postman to test RESTful APIs, create reusable collections, manage environments and variables, write automated test scripts using JavaScript, validate API responses, perform data-driven testing, generate reports, and execute automated API tests using Newman, Postman’s command-line runner.
The course also demonstrates how API testing can be integrated into CI platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab CI/CD to support continuous testing, improve software quality, and accelerate software delivery.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to build reliable API test suites and automate API validation throughout the software development lifecycle.
