Duration: 3 days – 21 hrs
Overview
This hands-on course teaches the end-to-end Power BI workflow for turning raw data into trustworthy, actionable insights. Participants will connect to diverse sources, clean and shape data with Power Query (including column profiling and basic M concepts), and design robust star-schema models with relationships, hierarchies, and a calendar table. You’ll write core DAX such as CALCULATE, aggregations, X-functions, DIVIDE, logical, text, ranking, and time-intelligence to create accurate, reusable measures. Using visualization best practices, you’ll build interactive, branded dashboards with slicers, drill-down, and the Analytics pane, then publish and share through the Power BI Service. The course culminates in a practical case study where learners translate business requirements into a working report, demonstrating repeatable techniques they can apply immediately on the job.
